evening dress (left): Greek style robe (white), crape muslin, the bottom ornamented with a let-in needle work, the front cut low and decorated with beads (white) and military style drops; at the front of the dress: a bracer (silver), ribbon; short sleeves decorated with beads on the outside; scarf (Pomona green), silk; necklace (three rows of white satin beads) with matching earrings; gloves (white); slippers (white), satin with silver rosettes; fan (white), crape, lined with frosted silver

morning promenade dress (right): gown (jaconet muslin) with low neckline and frill plaiting (lace), long sleeves, hem trimmed with ribbon (light lilac) with a matching bracer (wrist guard); a tunic pelisse (white), muslin lined with lilac sarsenet, with a trimming of lace around the front, hem, and sleeves; Flora cap (lace) with a cluster of flowers on one side; a sun hat (lilac), satin with edge of straw-work and decorated with flowers similar to those of the cap; necklace (pearl or black beads); parasol (lilac), silk with floss trimming (white); gloves (lemon: yellow); shoes (lilac or black)
